BACKGROUND

donate:60 is a student-organized, nationwide campaign to empower Generation Z — this country’s largest swing state.

Hundreds of student leaders, from over 150 cities across 24 states, donated 60 seconds of their graduation speech to share a unified message about the issues that matter to them: safety from gun violence; equality across race, gender, and sexual orientation; and action on climate change.

It has been recognized by Global Optimism as one of the most innovative projects of 2018.

The donate:60 message has had total media reach across channels of 24-25 million people through earned, donated and social media. This includes media from NBC, Hearst, Vice and a broad range of social partners.
